About AfriRate mobile data
AfriRate lets customers in the UK send mobile data bundles to supported African destinations. Select the destination, enter the recipient's mobile number, choose the recipient's network, and then select an available data bundle before continuing to secure payment.
How mobile data top-ups work

- Enter the recipient's mobile number.
- Select the mobile network used by the recipient.
- Choose an available data bundle.
- Review the bundle details and continue to secure payment.

Understanding the bundle information
Available bundles are displayed with their GBP price and, where available, the corresponding local amount and currency. The bundle description shown on the page helps you identify the data product before you proceed with payment.
Mobile data and airtime are different
A mobile data bundle is intended for internet/data use under the recipient's network service. Airtime is a separate product. If the recipient needs mobile credit rather than a data bundle, visit the AfriRate airtime service.
